Delete Your Account

You can delete your UnlockCity account and its associated data at any time, directly in the app.

How to delete your account

1. Open the UnlockCity app and sign in.
2. Open your account / profile screen (tap your avatar), then go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm the two-step prompt and type the confirmation word shown to finish.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• your account and sign-in credentials (email and password);
• your hunt progress, weekly passes and purchase records, and completed Memories;
• your location and map data held in your account backup;
• any photos stored on our servers.

Verification photos are, in any case, automatically deleted within 30 days. After you delete your account, removal from our backups completes within 30 days. Short technical service logs may be kept briefly for security and fraud prevention, then deleted.

If you can't access the app, email contact@unlockcity.app from your registered email address and we'll delete your account and data for you.
